The fan brush- fan shaped makeup brush that is included in almost every makeup brush set. Most people have one, but have never had a use for it. (This was me until about 5 months ago.) Some have seen one, but never bothered with it because it looks like it has no real use right? Fan brushes for makeup lovers and makeup artists are essential because they have SO many uses! They are available in all sizes, so there is one to fit everyone's needs. Even if you are a makeup beginner, after this post I bet you may have some uses for it.
• Mistake Eraser- This is the number one reason I use my fan brush. You know when you're putting on eyeshadow and the product flakes down to your cheeks? Well this is a time your fan brush will come in handy. Just use the brush to swipe the product away and it also won't leave color marks on your face.
• Blush/Bronzer- Using a fan brush to swipe on blush or a bronzer will leave you with a softer, subtle look. The fan brush leaves a sheer layer of product on your face. You can also use it to add highlighter powders too.
•Powder Foundation- Now I personally haven't used the fan brush for this use, but I've read that it helps your application become more precise. If you have ever used it for powder foundation, please tell me how you like it.
•Blender- You can use the fan brush to blend your powder cosmetics. It will help to erase those harsh lines.
•Skin Care- The fan brush can be used to apply face masks. It helps the product go on more smoothly. (Of course the denser the brush the better)
•Duster- You can use it to dust on finishing powders or dust off excess powder if you've put on a little too much foundation.
If you have another way you use your fan brush please feel free to comment and tell me!
