Within the last few weeks, I have been picking up things here and there. I am so excited and in LOVE with almost all of these products!! I did not do a November favorites because most of my favorites for the month are in my haul. So enjoy!!! They're Real Mascara, $23 I finally broke down and bought the full size of this mascara. I've been using the free travel size tubes that I had lol. I decided to stop being cheap and get the full size because i LOVE this mascara!! Baby Lips Dr. Rescue- Berry Soft, $3.50 I have this one in the clear kind (on my second tube) and I went and bought it in Berry Soft. I love this new formula. MAC Saint Germain, $15 I honestly don't know what has took me so long to get this lipstick!! It is perfect for me!! My fav lipstick color is pink (of course) and Barbie Pink is my #1. MAC Pink Nouveau, $15 This color is nothing special. I got it because it swatched great and online it looks good on a lot of skin tones. I think I'm just not loving it because of how awesome Saint Germain is. Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Full Coverage Foundation- Tan Honey, $38 My friend Brittany gave me a Sephora Gift Card (thanks Brittany!) so I decided to try out a new foundation! Full coverage is my favorite. I love the flawless finish. This foundation's texture is like liquid/mousse/cream. So light. I love it. I'm falling in love with Tarte because their products are formulated without parabens, mineral oil, phthalates, triclosan, sodium lauryl sulfate and synthetic fragrance. Basically their makeup is GOOD for your skin!! Tarte Amazonian Clay Full Coverage Airbrush Foundation- Medium Neutral (has yellow and pink undertones), $36 I decided to buy this (also with my gift card) because I received the mini version from Sephora with an online order. I love the way it looked on my skin. It looks so natural!!! When I wear this powder, I have NO shine! That is AMAZING to me! I can't wait to see how this holds up in the summer months. Naked 3 Palette, $52 This palette is one of the prettiest (if not the prettiest) palette I have ever seen! It has rose tinted shades and browns. Perfect. This will be perfect for the Spring. Quality wise: everyone knows Urban Decay has the best shadows EVER! LOL. Nars Guy Bourdin One Night Stand Palette, $65 (limited edition) I fought my feeling over this purchase. I didn't want to spend the $65 for it. So I missed out and then I had a return to Sephora and they had only 2 left!! I snatched it up and added $20 with my return to get it. I am so glad I did. This palette is everything! It has the infamous Orgasm and deep Throat blushes and Laguna bronzer and a highlight and 3 other blushes. It's so preeetttyyyy! This little dandy palette is perfect for travel. *Review coming soon* Orly Choreographed Chaos, $5 (ebay) I am a sucker for Barbie Pink (I think I've said this too many times). I'm trying his thing where I do my own manicures at home, so I ordered a few nail polishes. I'm only ordering them off ebay because I'm cheap and don't like spending $10+ for nail polish LOL! Pink nails are a staple to me. This particular baby pink has a slight iridescent to it. Lovely. Love it. Actually painting my nails with it as I type LOL. *Pink is in every season- Angel Essie Boom Boom Room, $6 (ebay) This color is similar to the Orly polish I bought except it doesn't have that iridescent to it. I LOVE PINK NAILS!!! A lot of people were upset that they did not get the chance to get "Talk That Talk" from MAC's latest release from the RiRi collection. Well I was able to get my hands on it and I was not happy at all! I ended up finding this pic and then selling it on eBay for $50!! If you were able to get "Heaux" from the summer collection, 'Talk That Talk" and "Heaux" are in the same family. I was pissed that it didn't come out as dark swatched as it is in the tube! Enjoy!!
My newest obsession has been Wet n Wild lipsticks!! They come in a wide range of colors, cheap, great formula and the lasting power is AMAZING! I own about 7 different colors and I find myself reaching for these over my other lipsticks. I think sometimes we put in our head that because something is cheap than the quality is cheap also. Well for these lipsticks, that is the furthest from the truth!! These lipsticks are $1.99, but are comparable to lipsticks that cost $15+. You can the Wet n Wild Brand at local drugstores like Walgreens and they are almost always on sale! 910D Red Velvet This is the perfect creamy red lipstick. I sometimes use it on top of my favorite red lipstick, RiRi Woo, if I don't want the matte look. *I hear "Stoplight Red" by Wet N Wild is a dupe for "Ruby Woo" by MAC.* 969 24 Carrot Gold I honestly bought this color because I wanted to try an orange lipstick for the summer. Testing a $1.99 lipstick won't hurt anyone's pockets. I ended up falling in love with it and wore it all summer! This is the perfect summer/spring shade of orange because of how bright it is. 919B Vamp It Up This season I am ALL about dark vampy lips. I wanted to try "Cyber" by MAC, but when I swatched it at a MAC Counter I just wasn't sold on it. I did some research and saw that "Vamp it Up" is a dupe for "Cyber" so you know I had to go find it! I actually think this color is pretty than Cyber. 907C Mauve Outta Here This color is also one of my newer ones. This gives you the perfect soft pink lip. 908C Sugar Plum Fairy I bought this color in the summer and fell in LOVE with it! Recently I took a visit to MAC and bought "Rebel" because I hear it's the perfect fall lip color. After I got home and swatched the 2, "Sugar Plum Fairy" is an EXACT dupe!! So back to MAC I went to get my money back! 967 Dollhouse Pink This was my 1st ever Wet n Wild lipstick. I LIVE for a pink lip! I actually need to get another one of these because my 1 year old loves lipstick like her mommy and she bit the top of the lipstick off LOL! 966 Don't Blink Pink This is also one of my newest Wet n Wild lipsticks. Perfect shade of pink for the fall! This is MAC's Viva La Glam Nicki 1 and Wet N Wild's Pinkerbell (still looking for this one for myself!) Also Wet n Wild's Cherry Picking is a dupe for "Talk That Talk" Rihanna's Fall lipstick by MAC. This is MAC's Cyber and Wet n Wild's "Vamp It Up".
I'm always asked what are my favorite brushes or which brand of brushes would i recommend. So i decided to put together my Top 10 Favorite brushes! Enjoy! Sigma F80 Flat Kabuki, $18 This brush will probably be my all time favorite. It is my go to brush for foundation. ELF Contour Brush, $3 I use this brush the contour my nose. It's PERFECT! I've also used this brush for my crease when doing eyeshadow, but I love it to contour with. MAC 168, $35 I use this brush to contour my face. I bought the Sigma F4o (which is just like this MAC brush) and I don't like it. The brush hairs are too long and too soft. My MAC brush is about 5 years old so maybe that wear & tear on it have made the hairs a little more tough. Sigma E50 Large Fluff, $12 I use this brush to put my highlight powder on. It's the perfect size to sweep powder down the bridge of my nose and adds the right amount to my cheeks. Pointed Foundation Brush I love this brush to blend concealer and foundation and my eyes. A few different brands make a brush like this, but I got mines off Ebay for like $4. (Ebay is my best friend) The one pictured is the Sigma F86 which is $18. Sigma E40 Tapered Blending, $12 This brush blends eyeshadows sooooooooooo perfect! I also use it to sweep a little shimmer on my eyes if they are too matte. Sigma E30 Pencil, $10 I use this to smoke out my eyeshadow looks. It's small enough to add the right amount of darkness into the V area. Sigma E55 Eye Shading, $10 I use this brush to pack color on my lids. I also use the ELF $1 Eye Shadow Brush. They both work well, but the Sigma brush picks up more product. Sigma F20 Large Powder, $25 This is my favorite (well obviously) brush to use with powder compacts. It is HUGE so it can fit over the entire compact and pick up the right amount of powder to set my foundation. F10 Powder/Blush, $18 This brush is perfect for blush. The head is not too big or too small and it's super soft on the face. I don't even use my other blush brush. When using blush, this is my go to! I'm sure all of us makeup lovers have been anticipating the release of Rihanna's 1st installation to her "RiRi Loves MAC" collection, RiRi Woo. MAC has remixed their infamous red matte lipstick Ruby Woo, which is Rihanna's favorite lipstick. It will be released online tomorrow, May 2nd, online at maccosmetics.com. Be sure to grab a tube or 2! There will also be other items from her collection dropping throughout the year! Stay tuned! I can't believe the end of the month is here! I have been thinking long and hard about what products are my favorite for the month. This month has been hectic because I got married April 20th so everything else has been a blur. Also with it being my wedding month, I didn't try many products because I didn't want to have a bad reaction to anything and be ugly on my wedding. These products have stuck with me this month. Hopefully, I will find some new stuff to try out for May. I haven't found many new products that I was interested in using (which is abnormal). Have you guys tried anything new or have any recommendations? Lately, I have been LOVING highlights and bronzers. This little kit in everything to me. A MUST try! Too Faced- The Bronzed and The Beautiful: French Riviera $38 So this is another highlight type product. When I use it, I mix it with my foundation to give myself that extra glow. I'm sure it can be worn alone to add a touch of glistening to the face too! I'm sure this will become one of my go to face products for the summer. Victoria's Secret Brightening Gel- $12 I went through a spell where my lips were SUPER dry. I found myself scrubbing the life out of them before I would apply lipsticks (matte is my favorite). I can across this product and it was heaven sent. I have mines in the Bubblegum flavor (yes it is edible & it tastes great). They also have popcorn, a chocolate and a mint flavor. I've had it since March and use it often & barely out a dent in it! Lush Cosmetics Lip Scrub- Bubblegum $10 This baby right here!!! This is my lovely blush palette. The colors are so pigmented and beautiful! I use this like every day seriously. I want another blush palette, but the ones I've been seeing are to similar to this one. I got mines off of......wait for it.....EBAY! Y'all know I love Ebay right? But you can also get similar ones for BH Cosmetics, Coastal Scents or make your own with Inglot and La Femme Blushes. Blush Palette- Ebay $12.99 free shipping Palettes have recently became my best friend. There are sooooo many options and looks you can do off of 1 palette! I used this baby on my wedding day. Isn't she a beauty?! I got her off of Ebay too. But BH Cosmetics and Coastal Scents carry this also. They are all the same palettes. They just smack their label on it Ebay 120 Neutral Palette- $14.99 free shipping I think this is my #1 favorite lipstick of all time. I also wore this on my wedding day. I dropped it & broke it =( I will be heading to a MAC counter this weekend to buy another one. This is the perfect nudish/pinkish lipstick. It can be worn everyday with ANY look. This is also Kim Kardashian's favorite/signature lipstick. MAC Angel- $15 This is thee BEST foundation period. I don't have to say much about this brush because it speaks for itself. You can purchase Sigma brushes from: sigmabeauty.com Receive 10% off this month with code: AAM2013 Sigma F80 Flat Kabuki Brush- $18 I love the Spring and Summer. The weather is perfect, the colors are soft, bright and beautiful AND the prettiest makeup collections are released. So this week everyone was going crazy for MAC's "Fashion Sets" which were released this week. I think the excited steamed from the re- released of the famous Heroine lipstick. Now don't get me wrong, colors in the "Fashion Sets Collection" were pretty, but I have my eyes set on something PRETTIER! MAC's "Baking Beauties Collection". By now I'm sure you know I am a sucker for pink lipsticks and just girly things period. First look at this collection and it had Angel written all over it! This is a limited edition collection. This means when the products are sold out THAT'S IT! Baking Beauties Collection will be available online April 11, 2013 and in store April 18, 2013. The collection will be available internationally in May 2013. MAC loves everything about a cupcake.
